Trade 2: Laptop charger for Typewriter

Walking along Gerrard East a couple years back, I found a portable typewriter that had been discarded on the curb. I’m partial to typewriters (I own a sweet century-old Underwood), and I liked the sticker on the case, so I took the machine home with me.

However, I never used it for much beyond a few letters, so I decided to put it up as my first posted item to trade on Bunz. Perhaps I could find a loving home for it?

I was dreading that no one would want it and then I’d feel all rejected, so I spent an inordinate amount of time writing this overblown copy:

I listed a bunch of ISOs, and as it turned out a Bun had one of them available. I had an ancient laptop kicking around that I wanted to boot up to get some files, but somehow lost the charger. So in a way, this trade was about getting a laptop computer in exchange for a typewriter.
