If you keep your eyes peeled, you can often make funny trades on Bunz.
Coincidentally, earlier in the week I had picked up twenty plastic hangers from somebody’s curb that I thought could be traded:
Much to my amusement the other Bun was looking for hangers and I trundled off into a cold winter evening to make the trade.
I was flabbergasted with the size of the pie (token for scale):
A full size Costco pie, about a kilogram in mass. I gorged on apple pie for the next week!
That’s the glory of Bunz—it allows me to unpredictably indulge my personal sense of gluttony. Would I normally go out and buy a huge pie for myself? No. But if it’s essentially free... well that’s a different question altogether.
Let’s evaluate this transaction: the hangers were saved from the landfill, and the pie didn’t go to waste. A fundamentally positive Bunz trade!
