I saw these TV trays up on the app and thought for sure they were worth more than a token apiece.
This was a meaningful trade because it marked a decision to acquire undervalued items for retrading purposes. So the intent of the trading wasn’t purely to get something I needed.
You could argue that trading for trading’s sake is somehow contrary to the spirit of Bunz—I’m extracting value from the system as a middle-man. But I contend that the benefits of market facilitation outweigh the negative aspect of me ‘profiting’ from the transactions. Market flow is important.
At the time my token count was a little low, so I arranged to trade for a couple of excess books:

What would I flip the trays for? And how long would I hold them? As it turned out, not very long...
