Instead of being dumped into a landfill, an appliance can continue to provide service in a different home. Why throw out something that works perfectly well?
As it turned out, the poster didn’t like Skittles, so she didn’t take anything for the crock-pot. Woo-hoo, free stuff!
When I picked this up, I thought I would try my hand at making stews and slow-cooked meals and so forth. But unlike the blender I got from Bunz, I haven’t used the crock-pot at all yet!
I guess I’m not providing a very good example of re-use. But I’ll get around to it eventually.
