Although there was interest in the Star Trek books, to my surprise everything fell through—I’m going to try again at a later date.
My post wasn’t entirely for naught: someone opted for the Blue Jays book as a gift for a sports fan family member. We agreed on two tokens for the exchange:
I decided to toss in a surprise bonus DVD of What If?, a documentary about the inception of the Jays and how Toronto nearly wound up with a National League team instead.
I gave the bonus item because honestly, I thought the book was kind of boring, and since this was to be a gift, at least the documentary was pretty watchable (it won a Heritage Toronto Award of Merit).
This reminds me, I still have to write a post on my thoughts about tokens and Bunz currencies. Update: Here it is.
