Trade 5: A bag of kale for Egon Schiele postcards

A major addictive aspect to Bunz is the entertainment value of watching what other people post, even if you’re not going to participate in the trade yourself.

This ISO caught my eye:

I don’t know any tattoo artists, but I saw an opportunity to propose a trade of my own.

Long ago I scored a discarded set of 30 postcards of Schiele’s drawings from the curb, but hadn’t used any of the postcards because his work can be a little erotic, and I never had the right context to send one to my deltiologist friends. Ahem.

In the comments I inquired if Claire might enjoy the postcards, given that she seemed to be a pretty serious fan (I mean, a tattoo?! Wow.). It turned out she doesn’t live in the city, so it wasn’t really worth it to exchange the book—but happily another Bun expressed interest.

We agreed on a bag of kale for the exchange. Which might not seem like much, but I wasn’t exactly trading a high-priced item (note the 99 cent sticker; of course I never paid for it in the first place).

Mmmm, kale!
