This was my very first Bunz app trade (as opposed to a trade initiated on the Facebook group). I wanted to get rid of a few excess reference books I had lying around:
Somebody requested the Shakespeare and the Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations. I let them have both for a mere token (an incredible deal when you think about it—talk about literary bang for your buck!).
The reason for discarding the Shakespeare was because I wanted to see if I could acquire a better condition version on Bunz, perhaps in hardcover (This task took quite a while for me to pull off).
This token psychologically paid for half the floor lamp from the last trade, which was also conducted in the front foyer of Ossington subway station (an increasingly popular meeting spot for Bunz traders). So this trade was also my first ‘back to back’ trade in the same spot.
I was excited and curious to do a trade via the App—the first of many to come. At that point I don’t think the Android version had been released, but you could access everything through a web client.
