Trade 13: Clementines and a token for Hello Kitty noisemakers

The next trade took place later that day. This post rolled through my feed:

I immediately scoured my apartment and came up with the above Hello Kitty stuff (don’t judge; stuff just randomly accumulates after awhile, you know how it goes).

We agreed on the two figurines, which the other Bun was going to turn into zipper-pull tabs on a coat for her child, or something like that.

I think these have been kicking around in my kitchen drawers for over 15 years so I wasn’t exactly pining to see them go (who knows, maybe they’re special limited edition Sanrio items worth a fortune).

I traded them for a token and a bunch of delicious clementines:

For those ardent Hello Kitty fans out there who are aghast at my profligacy, remember this is about getting rid of stuff I don’t need—and honestly, c’mon. I don’t need the figurines. Plus there’s the satisfaction of knowing someone else who really wants this stuff wound up with it.
